Best invoicing software for tutors (2026)
Packages, no-shows, and a bill parents will actually pay. A classroom LMS is not AR.

Tutor invoicing fails when lessons live in a calendar, payments live in Venmo, and April is a reconstruction of texts. The job is: a package or hourly bill, a card-on-file or invoice a parent will open, and a record a CPA can take. An LMS or Zoom is a different product.
FreshBooks wins when reminders and a few dozen families are the leak. Wave wins in year one at $0 if you will send the invoice. HoneyBook wins if you sell packages with a contract and a scheduler. Stripe Invoicing wins when you already live in Stripe and do not want a studio OS.
Consultant invoicing is the sibling if you bill companies. Freelancer invoicing is the general short list. Photographer invoicing is the sibling if the “package” is a wedding, not a semester.
