HubSpot vs Zoho CRM in 2026
HubSpot wins when inbound and a shared contact file come first. Zoho wins when you want paid automation without a $20/seat marketing cloud.

Verdict
Pick HubSpot if you want a free CRM the team already knows, meeting links, and a path into marketing — and you will not accidentally buy Professional. Pick Zoho CRM if three people can live on the free edition, or you will pay Standard-class seats for automation without HubSpot’s contact-tier surprises. Do not pick Zoho because it is “cheaper” without mapping modules. Do not pick HubSpot Marketing Hub to look like a tech company.
This is not HubSpot vs Pipedrive. Pipedrive is a pipeline sellers update. Zoho is a suite CRM. If the leak is stages and activities, read HubSpot vs Pipedrive first.
Public pricing as of September 20, 2026
HubSpot: Free CRM $0. Starter Customer Platform list $20/seat/month; limited-time Starter promos appear. Professional hubs add onboarding fees. Confirm hubspot.com/pricing/crm.
Zoho CRM: Free for up to 3 users. US-dollar rungs commonly listed as Standard $14/user/month annual ($20 monthly), Professional $23 ($35 monthly), Enterprise $40 ($50 monthly), Ultimate $52 ($65 monthly). - Three people, both Free: $0 vs $0. Zoho caps at three on Free.
- Five people, HubSpot Starter: $100/month list. Zoho Standard: $70/month annual.
- Five people, HubSpot Professional: a different budget. Get the onboarding number.
- Contact tiers on HubSpot marketing are the surprise. Zoho’s surprise is module sprawl.
Inbox vs suite
HubSpot’s product is the shared contact file plus email. Free is enough for a founder-closer. Starter is sequences without a marketing cloud. The trap is buying hubs because a webinar listed a stack.
Zoho’s product is a CRM that sits next to Books, Desk, Campaigns, and One. That is power if you will admin it. It is a maze if you wanted Pipedrive. Blueprint and custom modules live on paid editions. Zia-branded extras are not a reason to skip setup.
Who should pick which
- Founder plus a VA, inbound forms: HubSpot Free.
- Three users, will stay under the cap: Zoho Free.
- Five sellers, need automation, no marketing cloud: Zoho Standard or Professional — or Pipedrive Growth.
- Marketing will share the file: HubSpot Starter, then stop.
- Insurance, law, or recruiting vertical: use those rankings. Neither generalist is an AMS or ATS.
